Estátua

Um poema de Jalal Khosravi

Statue

 Wish I could be

A statue

Right now

Holding a cup of tea

And a scatter of poetry

On my lips

Wish I could turn into a rock

So you could touch me

Without regularity and shame

Dust me out

And kiss

Estátua

Tradução: Lucas van Hombeeck

Queria ser

Estátua

Agora

Segurando uma xícara de chá

Poesia espalhada

Nos meus lábios

Queria me transformar em pedra

Para você me tocar

Sem regularidade e vergonha

Me espanar

E beijar
